kitchen

The coming year is another opportunity to throw out the old and get something new. Whether it’s a new home, a piece of furniture or an article of clothing, upgrading the outdated and replacing it with something modern or state-of-the-art will fill you with giddiness and excitement.

If you plan to look for a condo for sale Manila or simply your home for 2018, you need to take note of these colors to make your kitchen the best.

Black

When talking about dark colors, the strongest shade among the group which is black always gets the most attention. The tone conveys deep emotions and translates to actions that require high levels of confidence. To get an updated version of this versatile hue, you can choose a semi-gloss finish to make it look like patent leather. The shine will accentuate the items at home pop. You can also opt for a matte finish and pair it with glistening materials like white marble and neon plastic.

Chocolate Bark

You can get inspiration from a lot of things including food. A dark brown hue is not only present in wood materials. You can use the color to paint smooth countertops, cabinets, and drawers. Brown is not as dramatic as black and is effective in providing a contrasting color for off-white ceramics. It is also warmer and more earthy than black.

Creamy Teal

Cool tones provide tranquility and relaxation. Hence, you can paint the whole area in the same shade. A creamy teal is similar to the waters of the tropical seas. The sight of it will make you think of fresh breeze and calm nature of the ocean.

Deep Ocean

A paint resembling the deep ocean is excellent for bringing out aged or wood items in the kitchen. It brightens the area and complements white and red hues. It will remind you of boat houses, cruises, and boat sails while scrambling some eggs.

Eighties rose

You can always translate your fashion options into your home. An update from the usual salmon and pink rose, the eighties-inspired pink kitchen will delight your senses. It is playful and youthful. It fills the area with energy and will make you think of bubblegum, cherry candy and all things sweet.

Foggy Blue

You can play up the colors of your kitchen by dropping hints of black or gray and mix them with a bright shade. Combining charcoal and blue makes a mysterious and elegant tone that will remind you of rainfall. A large kitchen area can get away with the full-on color. If you have limited space to move around, you can paint the island and counters with it. You can finish off with a gleaming white top.

Gray

Light gray, specifically a shade close to charcoal, gives a sense of shadow while emphasizing the softness of the environment. It is a hue that combines the light and dark palettes while serving as a neutral canvas for lively colors. You can use gray to fill the room. The color becomes a canvas for unique or quirky pieces of dining tables, chairs, and artwork.

Soothing Green

As the color is in the middle of the spectrum, it evokes warmth and coolness at the same time. Having the color in the space brings a dash of nature in the area. Thus, painting spot in soothing green increases the brightness in the kitchen when the sun is up and transforms to blue as light leaves the area.

Ripe Oranges

Zesty and full of life, ripe oranges is a popular color for summer as its species thrive in sunny and fair weather areas. The pulpy and juicy fruit is known as a refreshing drink, so it’s hard to miss. The hue is most effective in small doses and in areas that require additional attention.

Paper Cloud

It may be as transparent as noon clouds or white paper. A paper cloud hue is an update from the usual white. It has a hint of gray that is useful fo0r drawing attention to architectural details. Even if the paint is on the light side of the color spectrum, it can still go with other light shades such as rough cream walls, mellow yellows, and muted peach.

Try not to limit yourself when looking for ways to improve the kitchen. The best cookeries are those that embrace out-of-the-box design ideas. It’s best to choose a color that expresses your individuality while maintaining the aesthetic of your home. You can opt for mystery and drama or a soft and dreamy vibe. The power to translate your style depends on the color you choose for the kitchen.

This might be your first time designing your place, or you just decides to redesign for some reasons. Whatever it is, you want to make your home stunningly beautiful and comfortable at the same time. It is the moment for your home in Bonifacio Global City or anywhere in the Metro to look fab:

  1. Start with decluttering and knowing which things are to be kept

It will be a lot easier if you have identified beforehand which are things, furniture, and appliances you will still use, and which are to be given or thrown away. It will also give you enough space to move with.

  1. Establish what image or vibes you want to have or portray

Having a theme or concept will help you decide which things are to be kept or put in specific sections in your place.

  1. But don’t settle for one look or style

Even if you have a working theme or concept, having two or more is not wrong so feel free to decorate the way you want. Maybe you should also consider having a flexible design or look.

  1. Putting artworks will never do you wrong

It makes your place artistic and homey at the same time. Make sure to put it in the right height enough for you and your visitors to see. You don’t want to give the people some stiff neck while looking at those art pieces.

  1. It’s also the time to display treasured photographs

Photos are great decor. It’s also similar to your visitors having a tour of your special moments or memories.

  1. Adding different layers or hues of lighting to make your sleek

Experiment with the lights to amplify the design or overall aesthetics of your place. Not just in your.

  1. You don’t have to pick the paint color immediately

Other home designers say it’s better to pick the paint color last, and not first especially if you already have furniture and other things at home to work with.

  1. Having an open space is just pure fun (and for necessity too)

Isn’t it good to have an open space where you can invite your friends to play some board games and get a few drinks? Aside from that, you can also do the messy things like painting or eating (on the floor, why not). It also makes your place spacious.

  1. A full-body mirror is an excellent decor too

Seeing how you look is important. On top of that purpose, mirrors especially the big ones like full-body, trick your eyes and makes your place larger than the usual (when set correctly).

  1. Consider taking care of house plants

Having houseplants like herbs and fruit-bearing are economical and not just for aesthetics. Be sure to pick the plants that you know and believe that will survive as of course; you don’t want to have dead or dying plants in your house.

  1. Don’t forget to identify areas for socializing, living or personal spaces

Note: Not all are for everybody’s use. Save some for yourself or home bud’s privacy.

  1. Be innovative and decorate your place with a personal touch

We hope that these simple home decor tips are helpful for your designing adventure. Don’t forget to enjoy the stress and mess while working towards a magnificent place!

Did you just buy a condo for sale in BGC and is now planning on how to remodel your kitchen? Or are you planning to purchase a condo for sale in BGC and is a little confused on your remodeling plans in case you will push through with your purchase deal because of the financial constraints the renovation can bring? Well, that is tough.

Remodeling is always a challenge to homeowners how bought a second-hand property because remodeling always costs a significant amount of money.

The most expensive home improvement is always going to be the kitchen. It makes sense because a kitchen has many parts and variations. The good thing about it is, how costly the remodeling will always depend on how much the homeowner can afford. If you are financially stable, you can always risk for expensive remodeling plans. But if you are financially constraint, there are always ways to have high-quality improvement designs without spending much.

Check out these eight helpful tips in kitchen remodeling that will not hurt your pockets!

  • Create your grand kitchen remodeling plan. Having a plan is crucial, and it should be the first thing that you should do before everything else. It is important that you define what your goals and kitchen remodeling designs. Planning is when you will list all your materials and weigh their prices. You will not only see your kitchen design and expenses chart, but you will also be able to do an analysis of your whole remodeling plan if you write it down. With that, planning should be the first on your list!
  • Prepare! Do you think that planning was the preparation stage? Sorry to disappoint but planning is just planning. You still need to get your resources ready. Saving up money is the first thing that you should do for preparation. Since planning gave you the estimation of your remodeling expense, you already know how much you should save up. After saving up, prepare to canvass materials. Check out all the stores available in town and look for lower prices. There are always more reasonable prices!
  • White is timeless and chic. If those cabinets look stinky, you can always revive their look with some touch white paint. Painting your cabinets white can not only improve their look, but it can also improve their quality just like what every paint can do. The difference between having a white color other than using other colors is that white brightens up the place. Thumbs up!
  • Designs and accessories always work! Brighten up your kitchen with designs such as hanging lamps, flowers, fruit baskets, and more. Try also bright colors of designs to complement your neutral kitchen paints.
  • Repair and not replace your plumbing. Removing and replacing your plumbing is one of the most expensive remodeling that you can apply to your kitchen. You can always choose not to replace your tubes. There are workarounds like repairing them through using hardware tools. Let the pipes stay where they are and just check out your other options than removing them.
  • Add architectural upgrades! Added some structural twists does not have to be costly. Add architectural designs that can enhance your tables, cabinets, and sink. Enhancements such as adding bricks at the side of your tables or kitchen sink. Give your boring tables a whole new look!
  • Kitchen floors replacement do not need to be costly. If you aim at replacing your kitchen floors because they no longer look presentable, one choice is to replace them with cheap tiles or cheap marbles. The most affordable option though is just to hide your dirty floor with a mat.
  • Some dirt is just dirt. Maybe there are surfaces of your kitchen that you want to replace because you think you can no longer clean them. Unfortunately, all dirt can be washed or scratched away. Go to hardware stores and ask for tools are items that can help you clean the dirt away. Cleaning up is a cheaper option that replacing those tiles.

Kitchen remodeling is costly and hard, but again, it is not impossible to find a workaround on this. Just be resourceful enough to see beyond the ordinary means.
