Moreover, we had planned to go there by bus as one of my relative suggested me that if you’ll go by bus then it will be better than rail or flights. So, we had booked Volvo bus from New Delhi to Rishikesh which goes to Rishikesh directly.
Let us know how my friends spent five days in Rishikesh?

We reached there after almost forty minutes. We gave money to auto rickshaw man & stepped out towards the Volvo bus which was ready to go for the Rishikesh. Thus, we entered into the bus and captured seat everyone which we had booked in advance. Finally, Arrived at Rishikesh in the earlier morning at 7 AM & went for a rain forest Trek to the Waterfall and then went to base camp. After visited camp, we were feeling as if we are big forester. Nevertheless, we bathed one by one and got served with hot breakfast and then expend some free time to travel around the area or get pleasure from camp games. Enjoyed evening coffee as well as some kinds of snakes. Had Dinner. Night passed away at the camp. Thus, it was first day.
Day 2. Had morning tea with fresh mind. After breakfast go to Rafting initial point & start river rafting from Brahmpuri and carry on along to Rishikesh for 10+ kms as you can see below in the pic.
Punch some of the pleasurable rapids on the Ganga i.e. Initiation, Double problem, Hilton and Terminator. Someone was trying to body surfing and overhang jumping in this division. In the later measurement, we floated & enjoyed the river bank life all along the Ganga. Then, certainly we took enjoy a lot beyond desctiption as we had just listend about the Rishikesh.
Day 3. We woke up earlier on third day as we have decided on second day that we have to wake up earlier next morning. Well, as we desired, we all woke up earlier & bathed in very short time. After that tea was ready so we took tea with some snakes and moved towards the local people. We asked some things about environement of Rishikesh, More places to visit Rishikesh, How to reach pilgrimage places, and many more things. They were gentle man as they suggested us with very politeful in an easy way. So, behalf of local person, we visited some pilgrimages places and adventure places.
Day 4. On day four, we had to go for the hill stations in Rishikesh as it was decided in the night of third day that we will go around hill stations. . In the morning of the day four, some were talking to each other that it is too far from the camp so we should cancel to visit at hill stations. After half an hour argument, we all decided to go there. After visited around hill stations we captured some pics by camera as one can see in the pic below as if:
Day 5. On the fifth day,we had to decided for the rest as we tired vey much. Thus, we woke up in the morning for half an hour and after taken breakfast we slept the whole day. When we wake up, it was 5 O’clock already even we had to take bus at night 10PM to Delhi from Rishikesh. So, It was our first camp at Rishikesh & we really enjoyed the experience and unforgotten forever. We would like to visit again and again whever we get chance on summer vacation.

Oh, old memories. We used to raft often. Had our own kit. There is one thing, just one thing, which I did but I forbid anyone to even attempt it. Swim from one bank to another. The current is too strong, very dangerous.
Seema Chauhan said:
Hi Amsand, Nothing is dangerous there as I’ve good experience in Rishikesh. Probably you will not remember correctly so I highly suggest you that you should visit there one more time at least because now there has come so many things that you did not enjoy or would not have seen before.

K, I will tell you what happened. At one of the places among the many sand banks, just outside Rishikesh, there is a huge rock jutting in the middle of the river. A foreigner was doing his rounds. From one of the sand banks he used to sit and meditate for 15 min, then take a plunge, swim to the rock, sit and meditate for another 15 min and so on.
Now me and my friend, decided to go one up. Swim to the opposite bank. Without any gear, safety and all, and best of all no prior experince. And let me tell you the currents were so strong. I had the experince of a lifetime. Your article just rekindled those old memories.
